Prime Minister Tarique Rahman reached Dhaka on a regular flight early Friday following a four-day official tour to Japan.
The flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:48am on Friday.
Earlier, the aircraft left Tokyo for Dhaka at 7:55pm Thursday Bangladesh time, after engineers fixed a technical glitch that had delayed the flight by five hours.
During the four-day visit, the sides signed total 23 bilateral instruments, and Japan pledged two loan projects worth $295.5 million.
The bilateral instruments included a grant deal for purchasing a patrol vessel for the Bangladesh Coast Guard, 17 memorandums of understanding on private sector cooperation and a letter of intent on government-level climate cooperation.
The two sides also discussed potential $6.3 billion Japanese investment in Bangladesh.
